Headstock
The headstock could be checked and, when necessary, the mechanical parts can be overhauled or replaced. Normally the DC headstock motor will be replaced with an AC type motor for better reliability and less maintenance. New V-belts and V-belt pulleys can be installed to ensure vibration free operation of the headstock. The replacement of the lubrication, wiring, and painting of the headstock can be a part of the revamp.
